TSR — beta pubblica
===================

  Windows (64 bit)
    informazioni» e poi «Esegui comunque».
  Linux (x86-64 e arm64)

  `tsr beta accetto`, `tsr beta sonda`.

TSR — public beta
=================

What it is
A test version of TSR, a compressor and archiver. It is a beta and may
have defects: always keep the originals of the files you compress.

Installing
  macOS (Apple Silicon)
Move TSR.app to the Applications folder: from there it updates itself.
Opened from Downloads it cannot, and it says so.
On first launch macOS warns that it cannot verify the app: open System
    Settings → Privacy & Security and choose «Open Anyway».
The command line is `tsr`: keep it in a folder of yours (for example
~/bin) and it updates itself too. The first time macOS blocks it like
the app, and it is unblocked the same way.
  Windows (64-bit)
Unzip it in a folder of yours, not in Program Files, so that it updates
itself. On first launch SmartScreen warns: choose «More info» and then
    «Run anyway».
  Linux (x86-64 and arm64)
Unpack it in a folder of yours, and it updates itself: `tsr` is the
    command line, `tsr-gui` the interface.

On first launch
TSR shows the terms of the beta channel: they must be accepted to
compress. Opening, extracting and verifying archives always works, even
without accepting them and after the beta ends.
Right after, it asks whether you want to send us crash reports and usage
metrics. They stay off until you turn them on, and the full notice is in
the same window. From the command line: `tsr beta termini`,
  `tsr beta accetto`, `tsr beta sonda`.

End of the beta
By 31 January 2027 at the latest compression closes, and the program says
so. Archives open and extract forever.
